Volunteering

Our research programs often require a significant amount of manpower, making volunteers an integral part of our projects. Our volunteers are primarily undergraduates and graduate students from USFQ and GSC, but we are open to help from members of the other institutions as well. Our volunteers help with a wide variety of tasks, including data collection and sample processing both in the field and in the lab. Volunteering is a unique opportunity for individuals to gain first-hand experience with active research.  There are numerous benefits and opportunities, including training and experience with new techniques, networking, independent research, and publication. For people who are considering being external students, volunteering can be invaluable in helping you apply.
