Profile:
My interests lie in using molecular tools to answer questions in the ecology, demography and evolution of wildlife populations, especially in the Galapagos Islands. I have experience in population genetic, bioinformatics, as well as in stable isotope analysis. Through these tools, I have been able to reveal the status and behavior of distinct species as the Galapagos Sea Lion, being its trophic ecology and diet composition one of my main current interests. I also have made part of the field monitoring of the Galapagos pinnipeds and contributed with the informatic analysis in other research associated to these species.
